Our take - It's rare for an embodied lab to say "not yet" when China, Nvidia (GR00T), Xiaomi (Robotics-U0), X-Square, and Meta are each pushing their foundation models. Unitree is not a cautious outsider: they are in the game. When the insider says "a few more years," it's worth more than ten VC keynotes. The 30-second demo does not make an industrial use, and Unitree admits it.

To watch - The real metrics (continuous time without supervision, MTBF, unit cost per task) rather than the length of demo videos. The generalization gaps - a model that stacks three cubes does not stack four unseen cubes. And the red line of industrial command: when a customer pays for 10 units, not when an investor sees a demo.
